My Perfect Heavenly Planet

This all started as a question my work asked us at an icebreaker.

They asked “if you could design a planet, what would your perfect planet be like?”

And I thought about it and I really liked my answer. I’d love to hear your answers too.

Before I share my answer I want to share some of my personal beliefs because they shaped my answer. 

I believe that there is a God that created everything, and if there is a God, it’s a good God because I like to believe I am good and if I was created by God they must be good too, super good. 

And if God is good and powerful enough to create the world, then I think God also has a plan to fix the world’s flaws. Or maybe the world is just a test or preview of something better to come. Either way there is something better out there. I know this because I’ve never met a human who didn’t wish it to be so. If we all came from nothingness and just existed one day why would we get this idea that there is a better place? Some may say it’s wishful thinking, but I think the fact that so many religions, civilizations and individuals long for a heaven just proves there is something better we are all destined for. 

So I believe when we die we graduate from this earth that is very good, but so very flawed and we go to heaven where all things are good like earth 🌎 could be. Or maybe Heaven is a future where earth is finally perfected.

Either way I envisioned what my perfect heavenly planet would be and this is it …

I would design a planet where there are no spiders 🚫🕷️,no mosquitos 🚫🦟 and no bugs 🚫🐜 except praying mantis 🙏(not preying, praying), bees 🐝 that don’t sting, ladybugs 🐞,butterflies 🦋moths and caterpillars 🐛.There are also no venomous creatures 🚫🐍 (snakes are there, they just aren’t venomous, they are chill) and all animals and humans are vegetarians 🥑 so no one needs weapons 🗡️biting 🦷or using claws 🦞 for violence. Also we don’t actually even need food for survival, we just eat for pleasure 🤭and cook for fun to express creativity👩‍🍳. We don’t gain any weight from food , all it brings is joy, 😍boosts in mood and energy. 👏Health never deteriates 🏥and resources are unlimited so no one ever fights 🤺or needs money. People trade things just for fun, but no one requires what others have because all have equally. ❤️All trees 🌲 have ample food, and candy 🍭 grows on trees too. All things are free. 😃Also we fly 🦅to get around or walk very quickly like vampires 🧛‍♀️ in True Blood or a super hero 🦸🏻‍♀️ so we can go anywhere. There are no ugly buildings  🚫🏢🏚️🚫or construction 🚧 or roads of any kind. The only infrastructure are aesthetically pleasing works of art like the pyramids, Great wall, The Empire state building, works of art 🏯🏰🕌🛕etc. We all live in only very nice cute cottages 🏡and victorian style 🏺homes or we sleep outside! Because the weather is always warm 🥰and sunny ☀️ even if its snowing 🌨️ so you could just sleep in a tent at all times of the year. Also our tents 🏕️ are like the one’s in Harry Potter 🪄or the Tardis, bigger on the inside. Finally there are no messes 🧹of any kind or disorganization because we all have robots 🤖 like in the Jetson’s, who take care of all tedious tasks. And those robots 🤖 actually really love 💕 cleaning 🧼 so there is never a robot uprising.

So that’s my answer. Kind of silly, but it’s simply just a simple life with only beauty and joy and no pain or envy or hate.

And the best part is I think so much of this is possible now on our earth today if enough people care enough to try and have the understanding that the small simple steps do make a difference. Just being a slightly better human makes the world a slightly better place. 

And did you know they are actually breeding mosquitos in Africa that can’t reproduce after mating? So eventually these mosquitos will all die off. Not sure when that plan is going into effect or what’s stopping them, but there is already a possible future on this planet where technology can make us 100% mosquito free.

Sounds a lot like Heaven.
