I finally decided to read the entirety of the much praised book by KonMarie and it did not disappoint. It was quite an adventure to get this book because I had to get it from a REAL store! GASP! Which means the hoarder in me had to try really hard NOT to buy EVERYTHING! Celebrate my adventure in self-control as I get this book and stay tuned for videos of me applying its wisdom and magic.

I'm an Adult! I'm Not Apart of Your System. I Don't Need a Credit Card!

I've been told by so many friends, family members and financial gurus about how we all need credit cards in order to get by these days. They say without a credit card we can't get an apartments, a house or other loans. More and more these days decisions seem to be based on your credit score. They say because of that we should get a few credit cards and just be very responsible with them. I respectfully disagree. I believe the system is designed to make you think you need a credit card to survive because they want you to get one and fail. It's a flawed system so I say let's boycott it. First, the whole credit score thing is a made number by the companies who give out credit. It's not even on your credit reports from transunion, experian and Equifax. Yes the score represents useful information such as whether you make payments on time, but all the checks and boxes that show whether you have good credit are designed by the credit card companies themselves. Fakers gonna Fake, Haters gonna Hate, I'm just gonna shake...

Has anyone ever stopped and noticed how our culture promotes this "fake nice" especially in the workplace and especially with women in general. It's like we are encouraged to act like we like everyone as if that is true kindness when it isn't. We are told that a real lady doesn't directly express her thoughts or opinions, but sugar coats everything for others benefit. First of all I don't understand how people can't learn to accept everyone. Even if you aren't fond of someone, it's easy to accept and love them because they are human. Unless they actually do something terrible and inhuman to you or another person, in that case yeah they are a garbage human, but if they are just weird or rub you the wrong way because they aren't just like you and your friends, who by the way were hand selected by you because they are just like you (science), then you can learn to accept and love that person and let them be. Let them be doesn't mean you

Why You Don't Really Want That Thing You've Been Delaying

Take time to think About What you really want  Your actions reveal your real values. A simple, but profound statement. Why haven't you quit smoking? Why haven't you started that business? Why haven't you learned that language? You say you want to, but then reasons. Those reasons are really excuses because deep down you DON'T want to do those things, not really. You want them sure, a little, but in reality other things are more important to you right now. Use this knowledge to re-evaluate what you think you want. Stop focusing on that thing you think you want, but don't really want as much as other things. You'll be happier accepting the simpler life of what you truly value. And if you don't like your values and want to become the person who does really want that thing, then use this knowledge to re-evaluate why you aren't prioritizing that thing and find a new motivation. Truth is we all have the time and resources to do whatever it is we reall
